Our Mission:

We focus on uncontested divorce in Georgia.  Our objective is to provide every client with a fast, high-quality and low-cost Georgia divorce for a flat fee.  So, you will know exactly what the cost of your divorce case will be before you start the process.  We offer easy uncontested in over 30 Georgia counties.

We not only prepare all of the documents necessary for your uncontested Georgia divorce but we actually represent you in court for the divorce case.  As your attorney, we handle all of the contact and coordination with the Judge and the Clerk for you.  We will be your Georgia uncontested divorce attorney.

An uncontested Georgia divorce is the fastest, cheapest and least stressful way to divorce. Few divorce cases, including uncontested divorces, are completely free from disagreement. However, in a no-contest divorce, the disagreements are worked out prior to filing the case with the court.   This simplifies the divorce proceedings, lowers your costs, and keeps much of your personal information out of the proceedings and off the public record.

Our divorce process is easy, fast and inexpensive. You never need to come to one of our offices and, typically, you never have to go to court to complete the divorce.

Uncontested Georgia Divorce Attorney

We live and work in Georgia -- not California or New York.  We know our way around the Georgia court system.  We actually act as your attorney with the Court, usually for less than $500 if no minor children are involved.

As part of our representation in your case, we take care of all filings and communications and coordination with the Court and Clerk.  Of course, we also prepare all of the documents necessary for your Georgia

Many people prefer to handle their own uncontested divorce case.  If the case is very simple or you simply cannot afford to pay for actual representation by an attorney for your uncontested divorce, this may actually be the only option for you.  But, it is always a good idea to at least consult an experienced divorce attorney before trying to represent yourself in your divorce.

We can prepare your Settlement Agreement and other divorce documents for you for a reasonable flat fee and then coach you on the process of an uncontested Georgia divorce.  These are called "unbundled services" and we can quote you a fee for our help using this method if you are interested in saving even more money.  Whether you choose to represent yourself or have us be your Georgia uncontested divorce attorney, we are ready to make the process as fast, affordable and dignified as possible.

Cost of a Flat Fee Uncontested Divorce in Georgia

We are not "legal aid" and we do not handle divorce matters "pro bono" (without charging a fee).  But, we do provide quality legal services in Georgia divorce cases for a very reasonable, flat fee.  Because the process for an uncontested divorce varies somewhat from county to county, our fee varies by county.  In most of the metro Atlanta counties, we charge a flat fee of either $495 or $595 (depending on the county) for an uncontested divorce that does not involve minor children and $995 or $1,225 for a divorce with minor children.  In some of the smaller Georgia counties, our fee is less.  For example, in Camden County and some other counties, we charge only $395 for an uncontested divorce if no minor children are involved.  Our fee does not include the court costs which are typically $275.  For an explanation of cost of our services, please read our blog on this subject.

For typical fees by county, please see our Resources page.  There you will find a listing of most of the counties in which we provide services and the typical cost of our services in each county.  Your actual fee may vary .  But we try to charge the typical fee unless your case is unusual and we always charge a flat fee for your Georgia divorce so that you always know exactly what it will cost.  There are no hidden fees.

Naturally, everyone wants to know how long it will take to complete their uncontested Georgia divorce.  There is no single answer to that important question.  But, it will almost always be faster if you use an experienced Georgia uncontested divorce attorney.
